Going To Casa Grande

Our coach is fixed so we left Mesa this morning and headed to Casa Grande, AZ. There is a TRACKS TO ADVENTURE reunion in Casa Grande starting April 20. Since we are 'members' of the Moose, I decided to try the accommodations at the Arizona City Lodge which offers 30 amp electricity. We will watch water usage the next several days until we leave on April 20 to the Palm Creek RV Resort for our stay at the reunion

We arrived in Casa Grande early this afternoon. We went exploring in the area and drove by 'The Escapees' RV campground which was 15 or so miles from us. This was the original Escapees RV park and it is nearly 30 years old.

We left the campground and took a different highway back to Casa Grande. By coming in from the 'West' we came first to 'old Casa Grande' and then drove to the new developments of the city. By the time our exploring was somewhat completed, it was nearly 6:30 pm. We drove back to the Moose Lodge where Lynn made dinner. It is very wide open here and I am sure we will be able to enjoy the sunrises and sunsets the next several days.
